Burleigh Heads to Brisbane airport and back: It’s a relatively quick trip
Burleigh Heads might lie along the southernmost edge of Queensland, but getting there from Brisbane airport is quick. That’s thanks to the terrific motorway that joins Brisbane to the Gold Coast region. Getting there from the airport only involves a trip over the Gateway Bridge, which fast-tracks you onto the Pacific Motorway. All in all, the trip normally takes just 85 minutes. Of course, the Pacific Motorway is not immune to congestion. If there are roadworks or particularly heavy traffic, the trip can take longer.

Brisbane airport: Convenient pick up and drop off locations
Brisbane airport is not the smallest – in fact, it’s quite large. However, it’s remarkably easy to navigate. The domestic terminal of Brisbane airport boasts a joint pick up and drop off road directly in front of the terminal. That means you need only step outside the airport to meet your transfer from Brisbane to Burleigh Heads. If you’re coming in through the international terminal, the same applies! There’s ample kerbside space there for drop offs and pick ups. The only difference is that the international terminal has a separate arrivals and departures road. The arrivals road is on level 2, while the departures road is on level 4.
