Arriving and departing from Perth airport: what you need to know
Perth Airport has four passenger terminals for both domestic and international flights: Terminal 1 which mainly serves international flights and is home to airline lounges for Emirates, Qantas, Malaysia Airlines, and Singapore Airlines (all on level 2); Terminal 2 which only deals with domestic flights; and Terminals 3 and 4 which welcome Australia’s own Qantas and Jetstar.
Depending on the time you will spend at this airport, there are different parking options available. Whether it’s Long-Term Parking, available in all four terminals; Short Term Parking also at all four terminals; Fast Track Business Parking for Terminals 3 and 4 or Regional Term Parking, for those travelling with airlines such as Cobham or Skippers. Additionally, there is an outdoor long-term car park which is only a 5-minute bus ride with the free shuttle bus service, or a 10-minute walk to the terminal. At Terminal 2, there is a five-minute Express Pickup and Drop Off area, and if you need to wait longer there is one-hour free parking at any of the Long-Term Car Parks. There are also bays at each terminal for immediate pickup or drop-off.
Perth Airport offers free Wi-Fi to anyone in public areas and gate lounges as well as excellent facilities all over the airport. You can find pharmacies, ATMs, foreign exchange, restaurants, cafes, bars, postal services, and even print and copy shops (get more info on shopping here). If you have had a rough flight and need sleep, head to the sleeping pods in Terminal 1, which can be booked by the hour. On the other hand, if you want to experience the close-up thrill of watching planes land and take off, head to the observation deck on level 3 in Terminal 1.
If you’re travelling with children and need a break from parenting, take your little ones to the children’s play area on level 2 departures at Terminal 1 where there are games for children of all ages and seats for the adults to keep a close eye on them.
